Hi Stijn, welcome to S3S! Could you tell our readers a bit about yourself?

Stijn: Thanks! I am Stijn Naert, 45 years old, and I have been fascinated with computers since I was a teenager. I even had my own server business before I started working at S3S. Besides IT, I also love snowboarding.

Your own server business? Sounds interesting!

Stijn: It was actually a hobby that got out of hand. (laughs) After finishing my mechanics studies, I started working out of my bedroom together with my business partner. Pretty soon we had to rent a place, and before we knew it, we had built our own building. It all went pretty fast.

So how did you end up at S3S?

Stijn: After running my own company for a long time, I suffered from burnout. The co-owner asked to buy me out, so he could continue solo. After working as an IT manager for schools for a couple of years, Roel gave me a call.

I knew Roel from back when I was running my server business. He asked me if I was up for a new challenge as Support Team Manager. I didn’t have to think very long and decided to go for it.

What attracted you to the job of Support Team Manager at S3S?

Stijn: S3S is quite a bit bigger than my previous company, which opened a whole lot of exciting challenges. For example, we manufacture a larger range of brands and products than I was used to.

We also do lots of big projects for big companies. This allows me to develop a bond with the clients, which is something I really love.

You have been working at S3S for a while now. How has it been for you so far?

Stijn: It’s been really great! The colleagues are very nice and I felt like part of the team from day one. There’s a family atmosphere in the company and we have a lot of fun together.

Last but not least: What do you hope your future at S3S will bring?

Stijn: S3S is growing rapidly and there are no signs that this growth will slow down anytime soon. So the future at S3S will be exciting for sure.

As for my role as Support Team Manager, I really feel like I am the right person at the right place. I look forward to helping even more companies and making them happy. Our customers can rest assured: I will always go the extra mile to make them happy.
